Rambam Day School After School Program
Ultimate Play Zone: Games & Movement (For Students who attend Rambam)
Ultimate Play Zone is an engaging afterschool program designed to keep children active, connected, and having fun after the school day ends. This class focuses on teamwork, creativity, and movement through a wide variety of games rather than one specific sport.
Each session includes a rotating mix of activities such as gaga ball, kickball, soccer, Sharks and Minnows, and creative games made up by Coach Jared. These games help children build coordination, confidence, cooperation, and a lifelong love of being active.
Led by Coach Jared of Oak Roots Kids, Ultimate Play Zone provides a positive and energetic environment where students can unwind, move their bodies, and connect with friends through play. This program is a great fit for kids who enjoy variety, movement, and active fun after school.

Music and Movement at Savannah Ballet School of Dance (Whitmarsh Island)
Our Music and Movement classes at Savannah Ballet School of Dance, offered through Oak Roots Kids, are designed to help young children grow through active play, creativity, and connection. Each class is a joyful mix of yoga, music games, instrument exploration, and movement activities that support physical development, coordination, and confidence.
Led by Coach Jared, children are encouraged to explore rhythm, balance, and self-expression in a fun and supportive environment. Classes focus on building healthy movement habits, social skills, and a love for music while keeping kids engaged and screen-free.
This program is perfect for young learners who love to move, create, and play while developing strong minds, healthy bodies, and lasting friendships.

Our Purpose
At Oak Roots Kids, our mission is to provide engaging, nurturing, and creative programs where children feel supported, cared for, and free to be themselves. We focus on helping kids grow healthy, happy, and confident through activities that spark imagination, movement, and joy. In a world saturated with screens, we create meaningful opportunities for children to connect face-to-face, build friendships, and discover the fun of learning and playing together.
How it all started
Oak Roots Kids was founded out of a lifelong passion for working with children and creating meaningful, memorable experiences through play and connection. I have spent over 10 years working with kids through summer camps, afterschool programs, and youth sports, including roles with Soccer Shots, the YMCA, and as the Recreation Director at the JEA. Over the years, I built strong relationships with families who consistently returned to programs I ran and connected with my nurturing, caring, and energetic teaching style. Oak Roots Kids was created so I could build something of my own, where I fully own the classes I teach and design every detail, from the curriculum and branding to the registration experience. I do this work because I truly love kids and believe in creating the same kind of fun, impactful programs that meant so much to me when I was growing up.
